Allison, I’d be interested in talking to you about a person my great-grandfather wrote about in his journal. He and his family called this person “The Healer”. He wrote “I remember an old man by the name of Pete Nyberg who had healing powers. He could stop the flow of blood in a cut, or heal a sprain. My father owned a beautiful dapple-gray horse called Barney who had hooked a fetlock over a barbed wire fence. My mother and father and I had been to an afternoon meeting at Larson’s Hall, when arriving home we found Barney had cut the arteries in his ankle (fetlock). My mother fitted a heavy rope into the wound and she pulled one way and I the other. Meanwhile, my father had reached Pete’s and told him about it. Pete told my dad to go back home as the bleeding had stopped, which it had. Another instance was about 1909 when my Aunt Betsy had typhoid and bled so bad that my father went to Pete Nyberg to get rags. Pete stopped that hemorrhage too. When I was about 20 years old, I sprained my wrist, went to Pete Nyberg and was healed instantly. There was quite a bit of this type of healing at this time.”

I’m guessing you may have to input into these stories. They fascinate me, and give me a sense of awe, but I have to admit that I’m a little suspicious at the same time.

Great post, and congratulations on the publication!

Erin, thank you so much for sharing that! I can tell you that many of the things that my husband and I have experienced while on this healing journey are simply beyond explanation. There’s nothing wrong with being skeptical as long as one has an open mind. There are so many things that science just doesn’t understand yet. And very often, folks simply have to have their own profound experience in order to understand what we are talking about. But I can assure you, it’s very real! We are so much more than our physical bodies, and when we tap into our spiritual essence, the fullness of who we are, we can do miraculous things! You can see a little bit more about the spiritual hypnosis technique that I practice on my website. Feel free to check it out! Through this work alone, I have personally had clients who have been healed of significant trauma and allergies, and other profound experiences!

I think it’s wonderful, Allison! And, I’d have to say that I’m much more open minded to the unexplained than I was even five years ago. Mainly because of personal experiences. I wish we could sit down and chat sometime. I’d be so interested to learn more about your practice.
